Inspiration

Constant pull and push in the ever changing environment inspired this 3-d organic form on canvas.

Color

The play between the white under layer and grey, copper and navy blue forms create a striking contrast.

Technique

A separate layer of canvas was applied and organically formed. Then a wet on wet pour technique incorporates a fluid layer with contrast colors floating on top and intermixed. Air, palette knives and brushes were used to create the final composition.

Acrylic on gallery wrap canvas. Sides finished, no framing required. 26” x 74” x 1.5”
