Inspiration

Calm, yet invigorating. Visiting the west coast of California as well as Seattle inspired this imaginary view.

Color

I painted Offshore Island to replicate warm climate ocean colors. Then popped the image with brighter contemporary shades.

Technique

The heavy palette knife paint gives energy to the piece. No matter what angle you view this piece from you see the knife strokes and thick paint.

Acrylic on canvas. Sides are fully painted, and do not require framing. 36” x 36” x 1.5”
